The onus in this conversation was continuously put on government, regulators and parents rather than asking ourselves where the moral imperative lies here. Why does Matt King have the job he has and feel the need to continue to run that company? At a certain point the issue is not the regulatory environment that allows that company to spring up but the individuals who say here’s how I want to choose to make money in this world and I intend to keep doing it.
Also the argument he made that part of the reason we needed to legalize online gambling is because of the illegal market is complete bull crap that has been disproven time and time again. The legalization of online gambling has only led to further growth in the illegal gambling market, as best individuals can measure.
