Boys & Men alike seem to be determined to numb themselves out of reality.

I was shocking to receive email from my sons school last spring telling parents that from then on gambling was going to be banned at school and that we should have a talk to our teens.

Legal or not, it was spread wide enough for the principal to shoot the email.

Since then I noticed how gambling is becoming mainstream. When commentators discussing prediction markets during soccer matches, it normalizes the behavior.

5 years ago, I would go weeks or months without hearing anything about gambling. But now I hear something everyday on the news.

And the politicians will do anything to get the vote, to become popular, whether that is good for the people or not.
